Institutions
and its role in the recruitment of students

Only 5% of Higher Education Institutions see themselves as being in the highest stage of data maturity.

Studyportals has surveyed the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) around the globe to determine their data maturity level.

Data maturity is a measure of how advanced an organisation is in utilising internal and external data. The survey has found that only 5% of Higher Education Institutions rate themselves as having the highest level of data maturity.

Therefore, there is a need for the sector to catch up in order to optimise data use and incorporate data-driven strategies, which will allow HEIs to recruit students effectively.
