Data maturity is a measure of how advanced an organisation is in utilising internal and external data. The survey has found that only 5% of Higher Education Institutions rate themselves as having the highest level of data maturity.
Therefore, there is a need for the sector to catch up in order to optimise data use and incorporate data-driven strategies, which will allow HEIs to recruit students effectively.
