Focus Country Selector
The Focus Country Selector – On-campus module is designed to help universities identify the most promising markets for recruiting students for campus programmes in a particular subject area. This module provides a clear overview of countries from which students with above-average interest in a specific subject area and destination country come from. With this information, universities can quickly gain valuable insights to inform their student recruitment campaigns.
The Online Programmes version of the module helps universities identify the most promising global markets for recruiting students for online programmes in specific subject areas. By highlighting the countries where students with above-average interest in a particular subject area also express high interest in online education, the module provides insights to help universities target their online programme recruitment efforts more effectively.
Competitor Analysis Module
The Competitor Analysis module helps universities to quickly understand who they compete with on programme and institution levels and how they compare. Based on item-to-item collaborative filtering the tool shows other programmes or universities the students are interested in after looking at your programme(s). At programme level, the module will show the top 20 competing programmes, the ranking of the institutions offering those programmes, tuition fees, duration, entry requirements (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo), as well as programme locations.
At institution level, the module provides insights into how your institution compares to competitors in terms of offering, tuition fees, popularity, entry requirements (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, GPA, UK Honours), and recruitment countries.
Institution Benchmark Module
The Institution Benchmark module offers a comprehensive evaluation of your university's programme performance compared to similar programmes at national and international peer institutions. It reveals the relative popularity of your programmes and compares the core recruitment countries of your institution and your benchmark. The module shows how your programmes perform by source countries, discipline, and compares your programmes to similar programmes offered by your peers.
With the premium version you will be able to define a group of universities of your choice as your benchmark. The premium version provides a more detailed performance benchmark on programmes and competition, delving deeper into programmes at your institution and similar offers by your peer group.
Portfolio Development Module
Universities need to remain relevant by keeping a close eye on trends and opportunities to introduce new programmes. To this end, the Portfolio Development module offers valuable insights into subject areas that are in high demand among students but have limited programme offerings globally or in the university's chosen destination region. Additionally, the module explores the potential for offering multi-disciplinary programmes that merge different fields of study, such as Engineering & Technology and Management.
Student Interest Trends Module
To effectively attract and retain students, universities must keep up with changing trends in student interest. The Student Interest Trends module provides a means of investigating these trends over time and enables comparison of year-on-year growth rates through various visualizations, including a global map, trendlines that track student demand over three years, and a bar chart that shows year-on-year changes.
For a more in-depth analysis, the premium version of the module offers a detailed examination of 36 months' worth of data across various dimensions, such as destinations, origins, and (sub-)disciplines, as well as measures such as absolute and relative demand, and absolute and relative supply. This version also includes advanced features such as top-N filtering, line smoothening, and forecasting, and provides analyses including monthly and yearly trend analyses, and year-on-year change.
Origin Country Indicators
The Origin Country Indicators module offers a comprehensive evaluation of demographic and economic developments in selected countries of origin combined with relevant education indicators such as tertiary education participation and international mobility rates and student interest. This will allow you to understand the size of the college age population per country and how that is expected to develop over time, while at the same time understanding how average household income and GDP per capita is expected to develop over that same period.
The Origin Country Indicators dashboard combines data from Oxford Economics, UNESCO and Studyportals.
Global Student Mobility
The Global Student Mobility module offers a comprehensive overview of the UNESCO Enrolment Data allowing you to see global inbound and outbound mobility numbers and rates per country.
